Is my data safe with LifeSG?

Yes. We understand the importance of data protection, and are committed to safeguarding your privacy. One of the ways we do this is through compliance with the Public Sector Governance Act (PSGA), which governs data-sharing and protection within the public sector.

Here are some of the technical safeguards that are in place to protect your data:

  • Encrypting all data transmissions
  • Mandating Singpass log in as a requirement to access services
  • Checking for unauthorised logins
  • Running the platform through regular industry standard tests

How can I tweak the recommendations I receive on the LifeSG app?

Our recommendations are based on your profile and selected interests.

You can update your interests in the app by following these steps:

  1. Go to Profile via the bottom navigation.
  2. Tap the gear icon on the top right of the screen.
  3. Select Choose your interests under the Preferences section.

How do I receive notifications from the LifeSG app?

You can turn on notifications by following these steps:

  1. Go to Profile via the bottom navigation.
  2. Tap the gear icon on the top right of the screen.
  3. Select Notifications under the Preferences section.
