For overseas adopted child
You’ll need these documents if your child was adopted overseas:
your child’s adoption order and schedule
If you’re applying for Baby Bonus for an adopted child, please complete the adoption process first before using this service.
For parents married overseas where the records are not updated in Singpass
For parents who had their marriage registered overseas, you’ll need your:
original overseas marriage certificate
endorsement of overseas marriage certificate by the relevant authorities
If the parent is a foreigner (not a Singaporean or permanent resident), or if there is a change in the parent’s name or identification number from the submitted certificate (such as marriage certificate and birth certificate), you’ll need to upload:
foreigner parent’s passport biodata page, FIN, or Malaysian ID
deed poll (if applicable)
If your supporting documents are not in English, official translations will be required.
Use Singpass to apply for Baby Bonus
To apply for Baby Bonus, either you or the other parent must log in with Singpass. If neither parent has a Singpass account, please register for one. It may take up to 5 working days for your Singpass password to be mailed to you.
Using Singpass also automatically pre-fills your details in your Baby Bonus application.
Baby Bonus Scheme: the applicant will be the CDA trustee and CSA joint account holder
If your child is eligible for the Baby Bonus scheme, the parent submitting this application will be the Baby Bonus Child Development Account (CDA) trustee and Child Savings Account (CSA) joint account holder. You can only make changes after the accounts have been opened, through your banking app or portal.
