How to apply

1
Apply on LifeSG and choose bank
  • If your child was born in Singapore and is a Singapore citizen, your Baby Bonus application will be part of your child’s birth registration on LifeSG.
  • If your child has already registered their birth, is a new citizen, or is adopted, apply directly through the Apply for Baby Bonus service.
  • During the application, you’ll need to choose a bank (POSB/DBS, OCBC, or UOB) to open the child’s CDA and CSA with.
2
Open CDA and CSA with bank after enrolment
  • Once your child is successfully enrolled in the Baby Bonus Scheme, the applicant will receive instructions via email and LifeSG app inbox on how to open the CDA and CSA.
  • Go to your bank’s app or internet banking to complete the opening of your accounts. You'll also be able to access services related to CDA and CSA.
The parent who registers the child’s birth or applies for Baby Bonus will be the CDA trustee and CSA joint account holder. Changes can be made only after opening the accounts.
